Richard Burgi, who played Lt Womack in The Message. His character on Castle wasn't all that different--he plays cold and menacing pretty well!

We haven't watched it yet (busy DVR week), but when I saw the previews for last week, I said "Hey, he was on Firefly." My wife looked at me like I was an idiot, because she thought I was making a joke about Fillion.
