But really I'm not sorry. I tried, as I always do, to make my workplace better than when I arrived, but in this case, 'twas like trying to clean the ocean by removing all the fish. Just wasn't going to happen. It just amazed me that a Fortune 500 company operated, rather functioned even, with what equates to terrifying space monkeys at the helm, in the engine room, and all points in between. They do make my life a little bit harder by refusing to cooperate with proper documentation, but that's no shock really. I'll work around it.
Glad I've always got you and the other Browncoats, FFF.net, and of course, my tightpants! :P

TCM, it's really horrible to grow up and realize that whatchamentioned is everywhere.
We laughed at the Peter Principle, all the while springing for promotion parties for our incompetent co-workers.
We continue to laugh at a recent study which shows that random promotion is possibly more effective than so-called "merit promotion."
Once we internalize this we can stop scratching holes in our scalps while wondering how the mortgage and most other big, public messes occurred.
Some of them know what they're doing; most of them don't; those in either group will be out to protect their individual fiefdoms, thus ensuring there will be no holes in their golden parachutes.
I'd share a few stories but I'm still afraid...
