You can say what you want to about Apple's pricing schemes and Jobs' somewhat aloof style, but it's hard to think of anyone that's impacted as many lives as positively as he did. Thanks Steve!

This is so sad, he was SO smart and talented! I was online when the news broke and I kept reading the headline thinking I had mis-read it,...but no I was reading it right. I was SO happy to see them suceed in fighting Microsoft and Gates! I know he has left the company with a 'hand-picked sucessor', but it will never be the same as when Steve would walk out on that stage with the screen behind him, and he was thrilled to 'show us his NEW toy' that he created for All of us to use. You will be so MISSED, by everyone, RIP and when I get to Heaven, can I talk 'shop' with you, Mr Jobs? :)
Prayers and thoughts to his family, I know it hurts......

Bit of an inaccurate title there. He wasn't "found" dead, his family was with him when he passed.

"Goram it kid, let's frak this thing and go home! Engage!"

You're right, but the first reports early last night was that he was "found dead", early reports didn't have the details yet.

Believe it or not, I have an old Macintosh SE circa 1990 and it still works! When I had trouble with the hard drive, I pulled out the user's manual (an actual manual on paper). Even though I'm about as far from a computer geek as you can get, I still figured out how to get it working again. That would never happen with a PC.

Steve Jobs will be missed. R.I.P.

I just figured you misread the "Apple founder dead" headline.
