What does the word Byphodine mean in the lyrics to "Clouds"? It is a fictional Firefly drug which can induce a state of reduced metabolic function. A person under the effects of Byphodine is easily mistaken for a cadaver. This drug is mentioned in episodes Ariel and The Message. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fictional_medicines_and_drugs
