-Firefly
-Buck Rogers: hey, it's a fun show, and at $10 for 37 hour long episodes(complete series) how can anyone go wrong?
-Battlestar Galactica
-Space 1999:Dreamy, and cool
-Red Dwarf
-Star Trek TOS
-The Starlost:Canadian 1974 show that had an episode budget of about $1,200. I have grown to appreciate the cheapness, and bad acting. It is now a cherished "guilty pleasure".
Oh and Star Trek TNG

Hmm, if we're just sticking to space-based shows:
1: Babylon 5
2: Farscape
3: Star Trek: DS9
4: Battlestar Galactica (new)
5: Star Trek: TNG
Very special honorable mention to FIREFLY - but it's so damned short, I can't rate it with the others.

I liked it, yes. But not in a "Make-up-for-canceling-it" way. I appreciated getting closure, but it was so truncated, I wanted all those stories that were just hinted at.

Indeed.
Though I admit, the parallel didn't even occur to you said it. On the bright side, at least Firefly didn't end with a gut-wrenching cliff-hanger.

Sorry, my bad! I had just come from a neural neutralizer session, and my brainpan musta gotten all scrambled for a spell.

Ah, that explains it.

Nice to see another fan of the novels. All the other Robotech fans I know despise them.

I liked it also, but only because it gave us closure.
Here's my list in no particular order:
Firefly
Star Trek TOS
Star Trek DS9
BSG (reboot) up until New Caprica.
Farscape
Stargate SG1
BSG TOS
Space: Above and Beyond

I would put the first season of Andromeda, but the later seasons really really soured me on the show.
