Why don't these Hollywood fags get some psycho therapy and hormone therapy? Why settle for "gay" (i.e. anti-happiness) when it could never be as good as the real thing? Why settle for second best, when it's light years from bliss?
Why do people enable losers to be quitters? Why not encourage them to be the men and women they are? Why be happy that disabled people quit trying to cure their disability, like telling someone with a broken leg to never get their leg set?

PN, you're forgetting one of the great rules of Firefly: people don't NEED to be fixed.
There's a difference between issues that make the world the horrible place it is (rape, murder, war, etc.), and non-issues that involve letting people be. This is one of those things that falls in the later case.
Besides, if you're gonna have adoption, you need people who have a reason to adopt. Abuse knows no demographic or category, so really the only consideration should be whether a person is abusive, not who they like in a partner.
