I saw him first in the $treet and Brian's Song and never would have guessed it in a million years, but then in Firefly he did that British Boarding School thing very well ;)

I do hope this doesn't cost him certain roles in the future though - his ability to build outstanding chemistry with his co-stars, in particular his female co-stars, has stood out to me in everything he's done.

I'm also a bit in awe of his courage, that he did this on his own terms without being pushed. A Big Damn Hero indeed.

Aw. I was trying to express in my post that I think this is really great. But it's sad he felt like he had to play some kind of charade.

@Bytemite - I didn't see anything bad in your post, but I could definitely see Summer at least as having had a crush on him. That's how her "River" always came across to me anyway. I do think she even said or hinted in an interview about it somewhere (regarding River specifically).

The love he's been getting from his castmates on twitter has inspired me to re-watch Firefly again after two years...even Adam, with his politics, has been very respectful (for him) about it.

I think I'll watch TBC first though.

I'm really happy for him. I met him at the 5/5/05 screening and he was so sweet and way better looking in person. Yes, clearly if that is humanly possible. Painfully. ;-)

nah...it was obvious early on that he preferred getting roughed up by Mal more than getting squeezed on by Kaylee
and in all those intimate scenes with Summer, the boy never once copped a feel of her gamms...no surprise here..
