For those who missed it, Adam Baldwin posted on the Fox Prospero boards recently that he thinks the last day of filming for Serenity is August ~~24th~~.

Less than 3 months of shooting? Seems kinda quick , don't it ? I've heard that post production will take that much as long again. Say.... through November ? What ever it takes, I hope they get in to the theatre on time!

Post production is always the longest part when making a movie. Three months of shooting is not so little time if you think of it. They may be working long hours and most of the week for all we know.

Still, Aug 24th will be a bit of a sad day as far as I am concerned. Our BDHs will go their separate ways again until the movie premieres. *sigh*

I guess when you have such a great cast and crew that really enjoy working together, it all comes together rather quickly. Looking forward to an official trailer on the silver screen.
