Tell him that theoretically Wash was a goner from the minute he took the helm...I don't know how many plane crashes I've read about where the pilot dies, but most everybody else lives... though they aren't usually impaled by ...Landscaping timbers??? I don't prefer the BDM either, for that as well as other reasons. I can watch parts of it but I don't like watching the whole thing, its too emotionally draining and defeating. Hopefully he'll come to a place where he can watch it once and then he doesn't ever have to watch it again if he doesn't like it, but if he does end up liking it then he'll know.
