Just finished FTP'ing the mpg's to Haken. Also just replied to trs80 that I will do the same for his site. As soon as I get the ftp address it will be on the way. Anyone else got room for hosting, just let me know.

Holy cow, I just looked on a.b.m.firefly and someone has posted the teaser (captured at a different Con)! How come this has not been mentioned yet?
The quality is not super amazing (sound not great), but it is definitely the coolest thing I've seen all day!
I am going to BitTorrent that thing RIGHT NOW!

Isn't that bad transcoding from AVI (digital camcorder) to mpeg2 (SVCD) and then to divx/xvid?

Yes, you loose quality with each generation.

I've downloaded the DanRegal video from the newsgroup and I was just wondering if someone could tell me what audio codec it is in?
I can play it, but I get no audio, and Virtual Dub isn't able to identify it (tag 0050).
