Jong, have you seen any of the more recent movies? In Godzilla, Mothra & King Ghidorah: All Out Monsters Attack (boy does that take long to type) the FX are amazing & Ghidorah is a GOOD guy!!!!

Haven't seen that movie Chris. Guess I'm just not a big monster genre fan, although I always had a feelin' that bad-monster Gidrah was a bit of a wuss.

I really disliked this one. Mainly because the G lizard takes one in the L column. Nonsense! I put this on par w/ Spinosaurus taking down T.Rex in JPIII. Would NEVER happen. Sorry, just not buying it.

But also, the big ape gets stronger w/ electricity ? WTH ? Where is THAT written in nature ? I mean, if there was some electric eel hybrid monstrosity, sure... but a giant primate ? C'mon... that's just being silly.

What might have made more sense is if Kong got his super, power up strength from eating some native berry or some such. Kinda like a Scooby Snack ™, but for 50 ft primates. That way, they could have played up the fact that he was a vegetarian, and promoted healthy eating.

But no, he grabs a live electrical wire instead.

On second thought, eating something might be too reminiscent of Popeye eating a can-o-spinach.

How funny would THAT be ?

( ok, just me laughing.... oh well )

Well I'm putting it down to bad subtitles and the explanation has been lost in translation.... Yeah.
