Godzilla final anyalsis:

Just been watchin' most of 'em again.
My take:
You want cool nonsense? Monster Zero.
You want laffable James Bond intrigue, shootouts & cool monster fights & destruction (and best soundtrack)? Destroy All Monsters.
You want a cool 70's vibe & a great toe to toe final slugfest? Godzilla vs the Smog Monster.
You want to see the big G at his most destructive & evil? Godzilla, Mothra & King Gidorah: All Out Monsters Attack!(wow, what a long & ridiculous title..)
You want Matrix-style human/alien fights amidst awesome monster madness? Godzilla: Final Wars.

And there you have my list.
My fave is still G vs the Smog Monster (Hedorah) for its crazy take on the whole genre.

I was never a big Godzilla fan. I prefered watching the "The Mysterians" in TohoScope.

Smog and Destroy are my favs.

Actually I've just looked up a few Godzilla films and I remember seeing King Kong vs Godzilla aswell. I can see this Marathon will need some serious planning.

My problem with this one is that King Kong is around 50 - 60 feet tall, and Godzilla comes in at around 175. I could never buy the confrontation for that reason.
