Angel's Progress

So, I watched Deep Down again when it was on last Sunday... and it occurred to me how far the storyline has progressed in just a few short episodes! In just 6 weeks (7 episodes), look at all that's happened! Watching Deep Down, it was so bizarre to see Connor as the typical teenage boy rebelling against his parental-type figures (Fred and Gunn). Of course, even by the end of the first episode, that was over. But knowing what I know now about him and Cordy, it just made me all the more sad for that young boy that you could see him wanting to be while Angel was gone.
Granted, I still think he's a little shit for what he did to Angel, and I'm still totally creeped out by the Cordy/Connor thing... But I feel bad for him too. Cordy is right... he never has had a childhood.... And now that Charisma Carpenter is knocked up in real life, and they had Cordy sleep with Connor, it's my guess that he'll have a child before he ever has the chance to have a childhood. 
I wish they had done something else with him and Cordy this season.

And I'm not referring to little missie's choice of song, either. Although that was horrifying in it's own right.
