Depends on the fake boobs. They can be exaggerated and ridiculous or they can be awesome. I'm only going on appearance though as I really really doubt I've ever been with someone with fake boobs.

Even then it depends on the guy. I don't think the over sized ones look good, but there are a lot of guys who are into that.

I ask because when I have my reduction ( I have really really really big boobs) I am reducing them so far they will have to be fake... so weird or not weird?

Rosie- how are the frozen things??

Personally I'm not into boobs, although I have seen a couple of sets that made even me think "damn, nice tits!".
I've seen women the "boob fairy" missed, I've seen women after mastectomies, I've seen women after reconstructive surgery for mastectomies, I've seen women who always had something in their lap they were so heavy-chested. And when I say heavy, I mean HEAVY. Hauling the girls around like a set of toddlers and dragging your spine out of alignment heavy. Back pain= not fun. I've had friends you couldn't really hug because you couldn't reach around them all the way. I've seen young women with perky tits, I've seen old women who were wrinkled and saggy and every baby-chewed stage in between. Their beauty came from other things.

So when you say "reduction surgery" I say "go for it and good luck". Also: perky DD melons on a 80 year-old just look odd so make sure your surgeon does a nice job. (Is there such a thing as "age appropriate" knockers?)

So far as frozen things go: I think we'll survive. I drove half an hour one way this morning to repurchase the dry goods, which I usually only have to do once a year, and I'm "50lb bag of bread flour" enabled again. Plus they had whole wheat in stock again so I got a 25lb bag of that too.

I will say that when you're staring at a good inch of water/juice/whatever at the bottom of the chest freezer, and the bottom falls out of the paper bag of 10lbs of thick cut oats when you go to lift it, and you discover that they're very absorbent once you stop crying, and that scooping out soggy oats is the highlight of your day.. you might need a hug. Or a beer.

I'm dropping from a DDD to a slightly below C for the aforementioned severe back and shoulder pain, loss of feeling in arms, stress fractures already starting in vertebrae due to strain ( especially as I am a medium framed 5'2" person)I was simply not meant to have some giant nordic woman's boobs... somehow there was a factory mix up

Are we talkin' tangible or intangible here. I've heard what fake raspberry flavoring is made out of but it still tastes of raspberry and I can touch it. How about the aspects of proportion, feel, and shape? Counterfeit 100 dollar bills spend the same (if you can get away with it) but they don't burn right to keep you warm and can't make good toilet paper. For me, it's all good. Boobs are nice (except when sent via joke email at work and worse when the massage features a he/she/it). But then again I am just a womanizer and former BCMW.

I heard a comedy routine once where the comedian talked about dating a girl who said she had fake boobs. He was just like "that's cool" then he said the went to have sex and he found out "fake" meant padded insert things. He was like "whoa whoa whoa that is false advertising. That's not fake that's BS!" Or something along those lines. I think we should clarify that fake means implants.

And use of the word "enhanced" isn't always right. Augmented, sure. Is there a foundation to help women with implants after having a mastectomy? Surviving cancer is hard enough but to lose parts because of it sucks. One other thing, health insurer denying benefits to a breast cancer patient who is male. Thoughts?

Definitely ridiculous. Any cancer should be covered regardless of gender. That's just beyond stupid.

Did anybody hear about the guy who had his penis amputated because they found cancer while giving him a circumcision? Saw something about that lawsuit. I know it's awful but that one is just hilarious to me. First off did they have him completely knocked out or something for a freaking circumcision? I mean the lawsuit is because he didn't consent to it. They couldn't have just asked? Second, assuming he was knocked out how do you break that one to a guy when he comes to? "Well you see...there was a slight complication. We had to take off a little more than expected. Actually when I say more I really mean all. *runs away*"

I didn't realize that if one got a reduction one had to have artificial ones put in. It sounds like your body is suffering for having the natural ones, too big for your frame etc. so it sounds like this is the best option, I don't reckon your husband will mind and I doubt most men would mind if they knew it was something that had to be done.

Now when my dad and I watch Survivor (yes we love that show) he always tries to figure out who has fake boobs and who has real, he says when they lay down on their backs in their swimsuits its a dead giveaway. I would never choose to get artificial ones unless I needed to, like in the situation described above or breast cancer or what have you. I think that you're making the right choice for your body.
