Help me convert.

I have a cunnin' plan to convert more of the UK population to the greatness of Firefly. However, I need to know where I can download a copy of Serenity (that's the first episode, not the film cos that's obviously not out yet )that will work on a dvd player. I have found sites with the episode, but they only play on my computer. Can anyone direct me to a site? Thanks

Don't think you'll find many people here who'll help you download it. It's only 26.99 GBP from play.com, and may be available cheaper elsewhere. It's so far-and-away the best DVD in my collection, I just wish there were more seasons to buy.

I'm relatively sure it will work in a DVD player, at least in the UK. Region 1 also remains available if one has a player to support it.

Thanks, but I already own the dvd (regions 1 and 2)and a tv video recording that I made during the original showing. I am doing my bit to boost sales in that regard.

The point was that a friend has come up with a way to convert complete strangers, but it requires a few copies of Serenity being available. They wouldn't want any more episodes because the idea is to get others to buy the dvd. I cannot afford to buy more copies of the dvd and they show multiple episodes anyway.

I can understand that a person may not want to post the site name for all to see, incase someone downloads it instead of buying the dvd. In that case they could always e-mail it to me through FFFnet. Back before the dvd came out people were downloading it, so I know it is possible.

If no one here knows of such a site that is fine, I shall either continue hunting the long-winded way or ask some of the old timers.

Why not just buy a dvd set and let the first dvd circulate? In my experience, it often takes more than just Serenity to convert people - but after Serenity, The Train Job and Safe, no-one is left standing
