Summary: The worst show of all time next to The O.C.

The 2002-2003 television season featured tons of unwatchable shows, more unwatchable shows than any other recent television season. Out of all of the unwatchable shows put out that season, this was the worst one. Then again, it was created by the guy that gave us "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" so of coarse it was going to suck. I considered this the worst show of all time until The O.C. came on the air last summer. Maybe this show would have been watchable if the acting and special effects weren't so unbelievably bad. Yet despite the atrocious special effects and acting, the show somehow developed legions of fans and found its way onto DVD. Now a FIREFLY movie is being made. It will no doubt be the worst movie ever made, even worse than YOU GOT SERVED.

Anyone feel like writing up something more appropriate and submitting it? I am not sure how IMDB selects their user comments that get displayed, I think they may simply display the latest ones that are submitted. Reading the comments of that loser, I realize that they are so lacking in substance that it is quite possible that individual has never seen the show.

I say leave him be. Strongly suspect he is a troll anyway; this may have been the coded intent of putting YOU GOT SERVED in all caps. For my part, I don't consider it to be "On," and would just as soon let his little rant fade, unanswered, into obscurity.

Of course, if any of us want to post honest (positive) reviews --without referencing this schmuck at all-- it could do no harm...

I agree w/ Noocyte, leave the troll alone. Many of these slanderous "reviews" (I use the term very loosely) are nothing more than trolls baiting fans. Odds are this individual has not even seen the series; at most they may have watched one episode.

Some people just seem to find it necessary to bash things they have not given a chance. It just seems to give them their cheap jollies.

Oh dear. Has this put me off watching Firefly ....erm nope. Will it stop me from telling other folks to watch it, gee lemme think - nope again. Does it make me upset or angry. No. Sounds to me like the troll didn't watch the same show I watched but hey do I care! Counting the days to Serenity anyway. I have faith in Joss!

Not so sure the troll was wrong about the OC though. (apologies to any OC fans)

A real Firefly fan would go out onto the cyber waves and hound anyone making these posts, asking them why they feel this way.

My experience - they always disappear mysteriously.
