The panel for "Knights of Badassdom", horror comedy indie movie featuring Summer Glau, Peter Dinklage and Ryan Kwanten, was yesterday at SDCC.

Here is the hD trailer for the movie :

Look at Summer wielding a sword and kicking some ass.

Fishnets may not have been authentic medieval, but neither were the internal combustion engines that conveyed horseless carriages, nor the electric powered wheelchair. The one thing that the fishnets have over those others I mentioned is that they are hot and they are on Summer Glau's Gams!

Verily, those are two things.

I'm betting that Summer triumphs over the succubus then she and the surviving two guys (one for comic relief, the other for romance) go to IHOP for a pancake breakfast.

Only at the very end of the movie does Summer discover that fishnet pantyhose has some kind of magical powers to destroy demons. Strangle demon with pantyhose? Why else would the trailer show a closeup of Summer's derriere? If it is not the hexagon pattern hexing the demon, then it is Summer's bazooka, also in the trailer, that destroys it.

We all know the succubus must die in a grotesque fashion (as close to Lord Voldemort style as IndieVest Pictures can afford) and Summer must live. Nothing less is acceptable.

LARPers aren't into historical accuracy (there were no medieval "lightning bolt" bean bags, either). That's the SCA that gets all into those details.

I see your point. In this picture from the Knights trailer, it looks like Summer is firing a bazooka, a complete anachronism, because Xena never had big bazookas on her TV show.
