The books that you point to are full of mixed messages that can be used to justify pretty much anything. There ARE books that are full of pure intolerance and hatred, though, so at some point books themselves can be a problem.

Jezus, what an awful thing...and that people's immediate thought is "It must be Muslims", "Haha it's the right wing", etc., is sad. Which kind of extremist he is means nothing to the dead and wounded, and the death toll last I heard was 92--85 from the island alone! I can't conceive of it, and I still can't figure out why he went after those kids. A government building, yeah, that makes sense, but innocent kids on an island? To hunt them down like animals? I'll have to catch up on the news (just got up) to see if there are any answers. Gawd, the world has turned to shit. Somehow I expect the Scandinavian countries to be free of this sort of thing...and as I heard one survivor (of the Oslo blast) say yesterday: "This is the kind of thing that happens in America or the Middle East, not HERE".
I don't care who did it or why, it's a tragedy of enormous proportions and my heart goes out to the families of those kids.

I just realized something; this should end anyone wondering about Raptor, as to whether he's got any common sense and how obsessive he is about Muslims. In that way he's almost PN. That anyone's immediate response to this is to think it's Muslims isn't surprising; but when they find out it was a right-winger instead, for the only reaction to be "That's one for the Christians..." isn't sane. It speaks to an obsession that not just colors, but BLINDS him to anything else.
Thus, anyone who tries to reason with him should recognize from now on that they are pissing in the wind, and arguing with his blind insanity almost puts people on the same level as him, in my opinion. Just something that crossed my mind as I went down the thread.
