The program "PowerDVD" can not only be used to playback the DVDs on a PC, but also make screen captures... and of course, there are other programs that will do that as well... I think the free VideoLan player can be enabled to allow ScreenShot captures (with a slight command line modification)... get it at http://www.videolan.org
Much work remains to be done before we can announce our total failure to make any progress...
