Is it possible to make it so the AUTHOR of a thread can edit the title? It's great that nobody can, much better than the "title wars" we've had, but sometimes I misspell something (or in the most recent case, wrote a whole post and hit "add thread" before I relized I'd forgotten to put up a title. So now it's just a blank (embarrassing!).

Can that be done?

Screwed up and forgot to putin a title again, and now when I go back to the earlier version, it won't let me edit at ALL.

ETA: I just tried to change this title, I don't think it worked. So I guess you're outta luck.

I think Haken's away for a bit, though. There's a thread about that. Unhappy real life business, unfortunately.

Damn...because I just did it AGAIN! Brain doesn't function so well, I should put titles in BEFORE I type or paste stuff, but I seem to keep making that mistake.

I hope Haken is okay and none of his family business causes him pain, I'll just wait until he returnes to see if there is some kind of way around this.

I need to ask, too, about the fact that when I START a thread, my signature doesn't show up, only when I RESPOND to a thread...!

I just changed the title of my thread with no problem. Maybe Niki2 is banned from changing thread names because of past abuses.

There seems to be a window for changing your own titles, I've been able to and not been able to at different times.

So hey there, 'little kirk things'. Wasn't there a thread you were just itching to debate in?

Remember when teachers, public employees, Planned Parenthood, NPR and PBS crashed the stock market, wiped out half of our 401Ks, took trillions in taxpayer funded bailouts, spilled oil in the Gulf of Mexico, gave themselves billions in bonuses, and paid no taxes?
