Firefly (Science Channel, 8 am – Tuesday, 2 am) | This Firefly marathon, which begins with the film Serenity, features a naked Nathan Fillion, a pre-Mad Men Christina Hendricks, a pre-Nikita Melinda Clarke, and a kick-ass Summer Glau. What more can you ask for?
Edit : the article got it wrong : they don't air Serenity The Movie but the pilot, who is called Serenity.

"What more can you ask for?"
I want to see Summer Glau in at least 3 blockbusters a year.
Do you hear me Hollywood Execs?

I'm pretty sure the marathon begins with "Serenity" the pilot episode, not the BDM.

I've heard this from a couple of people, wondered when I'd see it here. Can't think of a better marithon for the fourth on Scifi.

Not SciFi, or even SyFy, but Discovery's Science Channel. But you're right about one thing. What better way to spend the holiday than to celebrate the Independents.

Thanks for your discerning comment.
I quoted the article but i think they didn't get it right.
As you said, one must read Serenity the first episode and not the movie.
