it's from Backwards, the first ep of the 3rd season. i just watched that one:)

"Backwards"...riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

I was thinking it was "Backwards," but couldn't remember how it worked into the rest of the episode. Yup. "Backwards" it is. What a classic THAT episode was. Brilliant.

Glad I never saw RD USA! Only Chris Barrie can be Rimmer!!!!

~Mary

"You are the most obnoxious, trumped=up FARTY little smeghead it has ever been my misfortune to encounter!!!!" _Kryten to Rimmer, "White Hole"

Also: "So what is it?" - Cat "White Hole"

"Would anybody like any toast?" - Talkie Toaster copyright Crapola, Inc.

"So what is it?" - Cat, "White Hole"

"Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!" - Ace Rimmer (now THAT's obnoxious!)

"So what is it?" ~Cat, "White Hole"
"Will someone punch him out!" - Lister "White Hole"

Greetings,

I've been a 'Scaper, a Browncoat and a Smeghead since day one. Can anybody ELSE here say that? :)

Yes, I can for Farscape and Red Dwarf, at least...didn't become a Browncoat until the DVDs my friends forced us to watch (Thanks, guys...we love ya!!!)

It's a New Year's Day tradition among our Klingon/Scaper/B5/Jedi/Smeghead/Browncoat friends to serve Triple-Fried-Egg-Chilli-Chutney sandwiches for breakfast...The episode where Lister gets Rimmer to try one is a classic...and Yes, your face DOES make those contortions when you try one the first time!

I just got a new toaster this weekend, and I'm still pissed that it doesn't ask me if I'd like a piece of nice, fresh, tasty toast....

Blade 2 worked for me primarily because of Danny John-Jules kick-ass ninja vampire moves and costume! (the rest of the movie was ok, but I was SO happy to see DJJ in something new!)

And yes, my ring tone (and also the song we came into our wedding reception on) is the Red Dwarf end theme ("Shipwrecked & Comatose")....Smeghead, and proud of it! (but I admit, if I could get a good Firefly monophonic ring tone, I'd switch off for awhile...)

I'm all alone, more or less.
Let me fly, far away from here.
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun.

I want to lie shipwrecked and comotose,
Drinking fresh mango juice,
Goldfish shoals nibbling at my toes.
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun.

There's another verse that they don't play on the show, but it's on the soundtrack.

I'll pack my bags and head into hyperspace
Velocity at time-warp speed
Spend my days in ultra violet rays
Fun fun fun in the sun sun sun

We're locked on a course straight through the universe
You and me and the galaxy
Reached this stage, this hyperactive age
Fun fun fun in the sun sun sun
Fun fun fun in the sun sun sun

Thanks for posting this! This song is very special to me (see post above...), and I'm glad to now have ALL the verses!

Anyway, yeah, the Smeg ups/outs are hi-larious, but has anyone seen that cooking show thing that's on one of the DVDs? That had me laughing to tears! It's called "Can't Cook Won't Cook" and it has the actors on it, but they're playing their characters, except Cat isn't Cat. He's Dwayne Dibbly.

EEK! No, I hadn't seen this one! Dwayne Dibbly has got to be one of the funniest characters they ever did on that show....somehow his character (and catch phrase) manages to sneak into many conversations around our little geek campfire here...
