HUGS Hobbleit... people suck:)
Trust me I know. Right now I am considering quitting a career I've spent 10 years building because of a few students.

Try to focus on the ones you aren't upset with if you can.

You really are helping the ones who aren't bad apples/rotten eggs/decay-decomp metaphor of your choice.

We still haven't killed anyone you know... it could be cathartic. You had a baby and I went back to school. Got any old plot bunnies you want to dust off?

Tired. Mini-conference today from 9-4 for service track presentations and then I'm done with it. 20+ hours of volunteer time (I did almost 30 trying to make sure I got at least 20 in), a 3-5 page paper, several meetings, and now this. Just so 10% of my test average would be shifted over because it would help my overall average.
I could have spent the time studying.
But I probably would have still failed 2/3 exams, and only squeaked through the third one.
Plus: she's apparently got a wonky weighting system and a slight curve.

If I went through this entire semester suffering all the stress and frustration of not just thinking but knowing (knowing I tell you, after being told by email) that I was failing, only to get a B.... I am so channeling Chuck Norris, or borrowing HK's feathery minions of doom or something.
I'd have to at least kick her in the shin, because waiting for Karmic payback just wouldn't be satisfying.
(If I ever go completely off the rails I'd make"Scary Willow" look like a piker.)

So: sushi and coffee for breakfast, bringing a thermos of coffee with because we're responsible for our own snacks/drinks/etc and they're feeding us pizza for lunch.. lucky lucky us. Then it's off to the "conference". Whoop-de-fucking-do.

(Don't mind me, I'm just cranky because it's A BEAUTIFUL DAY THAT I COULD BE SPENDING WITH MY FAMILY OR STUDYING FOR FINALS NEXT WEEK OR BOTH.)

8 hours of my life I'm not getting back and I haven't even wasted them yet..sheesh!

Happy May Day!

15 hours ago there was dancing. I was not there. Now it is time for bed.

Being allergic to pollen is one of the stupidest things possible. I hate that it happened to me. Today was a fun day outdoors. Tonight has been hell as a result.

loratadine
diphenhydramine
and
water

Doctroid is allergic to the air for about a month every spring.

I do not usually have a problem with it, but this year's been special... stoopid tree sex orgy.
