*crosses fingers* Here's hoping it happens. Our BDM is being made, that alone is cause enough for hope that anything can happen.

I think a release in as many markets as possible simultaneously will only benefit Universal and Joss.

Let's hope it happens.

I sure hope so. Waiting for the movie to come out in Denmark would be tough. Avoiding Firefly discussion for weeks or possibly months to dodge spoilers... Not a pretty thought.

As much as they might want to release simultaneously, if they can't and go for 1-2 weeks later, Episode 3 will become a major obstacle. Because that movie WILL launch the same day in all major markets.

I sent a message http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=5550#69394 thru Versal's site, asking about a possible simultaneously worldwide release - still haven't receive a reply.

If the release dates are all over the place, I'd also have to avoid geek sites like slashdot 'cos there'll be spoilers there for sure.

Hi all,
I've been in touch with Universal in the Netherlands and they've referred me to UIP who are responsible for the cinema release.
I asked about European release dates and they are not known yet but the woman who answered said to mail in a month and she might know more, so she's prepared to share. As soon as Im know anything I'll post of course. If Chris doesn't beat me to it. :)
