Just finished watching a PBS documentary on Dragon-Con. It has everything. I like the parade. Brings the masses into the whole convention. The Miss Klingon Empire Contest was a hoot. No worry about having plenty of Klingon females to enter the contest. Needless to say there were assorted orange knitted Jayne caps that stood out in the crowd.

That documentary made it clear that it is well worth attending. Just people watching would keep me busy the whole time. I would forget to attend anything. Well, I would make the Miss Klingon Empire Contest. But that is people watching too.

Traveler- that's all most of us do. Engie's the only one with enough drive to go to events. The rest of us pretty much just hang out except for the Shindig

Yep I still like her personality. She'll remain a friend for sure, but she's thinking of moving to Turkey. That's pretty much a deal breaker. So, that's that IMO. Now I'll just have to wait for my brain to reconcile everything. Yes, she's cool and right in a lot of ways, but stop thinking like that cause she's wrong in too many other ways. Bad brain bad.

Nah with her "thinking" is serious business. It's pretty much set in stone. Though I'll be shocked if it sticks. She's just too family oriented and I don't see her surviving that long without being able to see them. Anyway that's a far cry from perfect. That's a massive canyon in the road to perfect town.
