Here's the thing: I like Tarantino. I think Kill Bill as a whole is a fantastic film, and I'll happily shell out the dough to see Inglorious Bastards when it comes around.

BUT

I cannot even fathom what's going through the head of the guy who suggested this. Tarantino isn't a genius, he's a movie lover who makes good movies. Joss Whedon, is a full fledged genius and/or artist. That's all there is to say.

On a side note, the idea of Rodriguez with a Whedon script is fascinating, although I respect Rodriguez more for his methods than his results. He'd certainly approve of the Serenity filming's breakneck pace, although it'd probably be too slow.

Please note, I'm not suggesting that Rodriguez go anywhere near Firefly, but something else written by Whedon, and not torn up by studio execs like certain movies that shall remain nameless but whose initials are Alien: Resurrection.

Are you serious? Did you See Kill Bill voume one or two of crap? I mean seriously.

The direction of that movie was total shite. After seeing KB V1 I had NO interest in seeing V2. None. The only thing that was even a little cool about V1 was some of the Omaghes.. THAT WAS IT. THE MAN HAS NOTHING WORTHWHILE THAT IS ORIGIONAL TO HIS VERY BEING!!!

He is so caught up in idolic fandom of himself that he can't realise he needs to be origionally creative.

Jackie Brown was mediocre. With all the star power in it how could it be? Go figure.

Kill Bill Vol. 1 was total crap. Bad dialogue, cartoon in the middle, Thurman looked liked a recovering crack addict. The best thing about the "movie" was the soundtrack.

I like Tarantino as he should be:Screenwriter!! Leave the directing to someone else.

SUMOSAMURI:I respect your opinion and all, but what were you smokin' when you came up with this Tarantino idea?
