Yet again, cookies save the day.

Speaking of which, I got my diploma in the mail on Friday! Yea! It looks much better than the one that I thought was my diploma that they sent in January (it was an ugly bit of "meh" when I saw it - I couldn't believe that that was what I worked for - could have printed it out myself on my printer).

The real one is worth framing.

I am now an officially trained, professional librarian. I could probably even catalog all of the crap that Badger has in his office. Or weed a couple of Fox executives.

Cookies make all kinds of things shinier. Especially with a cold glass of milk.

That sounds.....like one of those "mystery meals" the might serve in the galley after River pulls the lables off of the food stash.

Also, less gross than the peanut butter & mayo sandwiches a friend used to make.

That. Sucks.

Just one more day containing a big quiz, a lab, and a big exam.. then it's Spring Break and I'll have plenty of time to study and finish my chem and math labs!

Last week's CVA quiz garnered 49/50 and a sticker. Best score yet in that class.
Boychild cheered and hugged me.

Doctroid hung it on the fridge.

I need a break. I really really need a break.

I will be doing all five weeks of field experience the first half of the summer. (You won't be hearing much from me during that time.)
I need to see about taking Calc 1 the second half of the summer.
When I get back from the Adirondacks I will be smartified, able to conduct independent field research, and know how to build a wigwam among other useful things. (Field Ethnobotany.. gotta love it! Dyes and sh..tuff from the wild!)

That sounds really interesting! I'd like to learn how to build a wigwam and those other things. Fun times, it sounds like.

I hope so. We'll just have to wait and see. It's 8-12 hours of field work and analysis every day, sometimes more.

Last class finished. Spring break has begun.
I graded the quizzes and the essays. (Beer improves the writing of others.) Now I just have to plug in the grades and get cracking on all the other sh...tuff I have to do this week.

Okey dokey, that was not so much fun.

House hunting began yesterday. We hit three open houses, decided not to bother with a fourth, and then went to see two more places with our agent. The first one was not so bad. The second one's owners need to be smacked. Hard. Big old house, could be great with a LOT of work and money. They let the roof go and go until there was water leaking down interior walls and there's mold growing in the ceilings. THEN they had the balls to ask what they're asking for the place. The pool's about trashed, the deck's in need of repair, the garage roof's in about the same shape, and they did something stupid with wood in a damp basement. The lot's nice, the locations' not bad, and if they'd just taken care of the place we wouldn't be able to afford it it would be so nice. It's not just needing a new roof, there's no telling what's growing where. Stupid jerks. They didn't deserve to have such a nice big old place and now unless somebody saves it nobody else can use it either.
(grrrrrrr)

So yeah, tomorrow and Thursday are seven places each day, plus a few more Wed or Fri. They apparently couldn't get anything lined up for today. The nerve, having other clients and stuff!

I need more vacation in my vacation.
