I have noticed these types often wearing unnecessary head-wear from time to time. To each his own right? But what bothers me is when they insist on wearing these stupid hats inside. I've always been taught wearing a hat inside was rude.

One of the meanings is "pesticide-free." That is the meaning when a vegetable has the label "organic" on it.
If you don't like pesticide-free food, feel free to avoid it. What's with attacking those who like that stuff? I thought you were about freedom of choice?

Aside from “organic nuts”, try having a REAL vegan along!!! And yes, me too:Quote:
I'd eat organic all the time if it were cheaper and more available. As is, it's too much a pain in the ass to really be worth it.
Uh, CTTS, you DID realize you were responding to Wulf, didn’t you? One snark, one half-way decent response to the thread, and one rant. That’s about average, wouldn’t you say? As to being for being for ANY sort of freedom, we’ve already put that one to death; he’s for any freedom HE wants to use and any freedom HE thinks others deserve. Nothing more. You know all that...
As for me, never met anyone with a fake accent, so I can't say. The list of things that grind my ass is too long to go into, but I only notice them in passing, so it's no biggie. I suppose at the top of the list is "controllers". Big fish in little ponds who don't know how to interact with others without trying to control them. Forum moderators. The woman on horseback who gave me shit about my dogs being off leash on the trail (and my dogs never bother ANYONE or any horse)--she was "deputized" by the rangers, but had no power to do anything. Or the woman recently who gave me shit about smoking in the dog park and said she was gonna go call the cops on me. People like that, who just CANNOT help themselves from attacking anyone not doing what they want.
People like that gravitate toward things that give them power, like being policemen or heading up some group or others. They invariably make me want to spit.
Hey, DT, did you mean "You have winning typing skills" or "You have lovely winning skills"
works both ways...

This may all be true, but call it non-pesticidal. Calling it organic is preety lame.

Niki,
I meant Wulf said "Ta-DA!" in his nonsensical victory post. He should have said "WINNING!" like Charlie Sheen.

Organic comes from the term "organic" farming, which refers to farming methods relying on organic materials rather than synthetic ones (pesticides).
So "organic" is not meant to describe the product, but the ingredients used in the process of making the product.

And this is where it gets ALL sorts of fun, helmet-heads!
Its organic cus they don't use pesticides, right! YAY!
Except...
In the same amount of space they use to grow their hippie-melons.... 3x the amount of food could be produced.
AND IT WOULD LAST LONGER.
MMMMM, IRRADIATED.
So while you are sinking your teeth into that apple that may (or may not) have worms in it, and gushing over how mushy androtten it sort of tastes... think on this.
In the area that apple was grown, with all those hippie pest control measures (like vinegar)... 3 trees could be producing a GOOD apple.
But keep paying 3x the price. After all, rotten apples with worms are worth it. Considering it ties up the space of those that could actually produce good fruit.
YAY ORGANIC.

and "Toy" dogs.
Really? Shave your legs and your lips, find a man who can listen to your annoying voice, trick him into having sex with you, and have a real, live, HUMAN baby for Gods sake!
Stop cursing the rest of the world with fake dogs please.
