Ok we all know Jayne is the only one who likes Mudder's Milk (Well duh it is his town's drink)
Jayne Cobb- Mudder's milk
Malcolm Reynolds- Whiskey or a beer depending on the mood
Inara Serra- Martini
Wash-Beer
Zoe-Whiskey
Kaylee- homemade whiskey
Simon Tam- Merlot
River Tam-Bloody Mary

while Kaylee's brew is very... purple, probably from strawberries and other fruit she uses, it's definitely a kind of moonshine. Meaning it's probably really high grade alcohol (Inara acts like it's a higher grade of alcohol than she's used to when she takes a sip). Whiskey could be accurate, another possibility is she brews hard cider.
