About Galax, frankly there is nothing here. Very small town. We do have the world's biggest fiddlers convention here every year in August, but that's not really my cup of tea.

Glad to see there's someone close by on the board. I've signed up for the meetup.com, but there are only a couple other people in our area, are you signed up?
I'd love to do something for the BDM, but Charlottesville is about 4 hours away, if there are alot of Browncoats in Richmond then maybe we could get together there. Whatever, I think we should get something going!!

I am from Richmond as well. South of the James in Chesterfield County to be exact.
I posted about the meetup on 8/7 @ 2pm over at the Meetup board. Is anyone else planning on attending? I have already sent my RSVP.

Actually, I'm in Chesterfield, too.
I do craft shows for a living and would never be available that early on a Saturday. Has anyone warmed up to my idea of meeting at Babe's some evening? Its realy shiny. Or if you're available on Thursdays, we could meet at the 17th St Farmers Market, since I'm there anyway, selling my wares.

Handmade goat milk soap. I'm in stall 52 at the north-west corner of the market. I'm 5foot2, eyes of blue, blond hair pulled up, with glasses. You know what would be cool? Just walk up and say part of a line from the show, like cold war spies with their secret greetings. Like, you would just walk up and say "We have done the impossible" and I would say "And that makes us mighty." Oh how cool would that be.
