That's awesome...I just wanted to see what our numbers were. Seems everybody is in the midwest or Cali, so its good to know "YA'LL" are here.

I'm from Dallas. I read that you are opening a shop. Can you post some info on that? Thanks.

What part of Dallas do you live in?

I have opened a gaming shop in Mesquite Tx. Near the intersection of I30 and Loop 635. Have magic cards, role playing games, a LAN. Also there are gaming tables every day and a private gaming room. The webpage is still under construction but check it out at www.keepflyinggames.com
Thanks.

Hello All,
I'm a newbie here but a big Firefly fan. How
does Macon Ga. fit in for Deep South?

I believe Ft. Smith, AR qualifies.

You're awesome, Haslinger. That cracks me up.

I went to Atlanta for a viewing party the Feb. after cancellation and would go again for a premiere party at the Fox. That is, if you extend invites.

Not as funny as Haslinger, but semi-funny: I have a cousin who's getting married next April. It's really on the tip of my tongue to say, "Beginning of the month, please. I have fandom."

Right on. We should band together...get some sort of shiny premeir party together. Isn't there a drive in around Atlanta? I know that's not ideal for sound, but imagine the dynamic. Especially if we could get enough to set up the shindig for almost nothing.

Is there anyone in Atlanta that can help with this? I haven't been there in years is that theater still there?

There is a drive-in called the Starlight just south of Atlanta on Hwy 42 (aka US-23/Moreland Avenue/Briarcliff Rd - why do we give roads 9000 names nowadays?). Has 10 screens I believe. That would be a fun atmosphere, but you're right about sound. My vote is still for an IMAX. I would love to see Serenity go gliding by on that giant screen.

We have an Imax but it is limited to science films only. Do they show all the films on an IMAX or just the bigger summer movies. Cause an Imax print would cost a good bit. I, as much as it pains me to say this, feel that Universal may not fork out the cash for such a print.
