Hey everyone, just wanted to see how many of you folks would be coming to this year's Dragon Con. Jewel Staite is coming, and hopefully some more cast members will be join in as well. Also I'm doing a Kaylee costume which you can see here: http://www.reannaremick.com/dragoncon/2004/ I haven't muddied up the coveralls or attached the fuzzy bear patch to the knee yet, but that's the basic look. I'll also put some grease on my face/arms/hair etc. on the big day. Anyway, enough babbling from me, hope to see some of you there!

(sorry to anyone who's on the browncoats forum for the double posting!)

I will be there, and a few others, but I'll have to bow out of the Sunday forum with Jewel, since it's at the same time as the Miss Klingon Empire contest, and as a past winner, I'm planning on making a (surprise) appearance this year...hehehehe...

Should be in my Browncoat best on Saturday, however!

My wife and I will be there in Firefly costume. Right now the plan that several of us had been talking about was for all Browncoats to meet up at the Browncoats.com table Fri, Sept 3rd @ 7pm.

There was another thread in General located here:

Here you can see who is planning to attend so far and any meet up plans so far. Hope to see you there.

Hello to those of you who are going to Dragon Con.

I just found out that a film i edited & and did the SFX for (Timed Call) will be screened. As I live in Australia and will be cutting by first feature while Dragon Con is on.

If anyone could be bothered, please stop in and watch Timed call and tell me what the audience reaction was like.

It's a good film (shot on film, not video), a bit of a time travel thriller. quite a few aussie browncoats worked on it.

Many thanks,

Marcus

p.s. Your costumes sound excellent.

Sounds interesting Marcus. I will make a point to check it out & let you know what people think.

Many thanks.

I'm glad somebody will be watching. just spoke to Matt the director, he feels like he's sending out his baby and he's glad someone is watching over it.

Cheers

No worries. I should be able to convince an attending browncoat or two to go as well.
