So yeah I knew there was Mexican Cola but I saw Mexican Pepsi at the store! I was like OMG! I did actually giggle (I made sure no one was around though) :) Pictures because I'm that much of a nerd.

Why aren't my pics working?! :( Yah! Got them to work!

It's available on the lunch trucks here in Southern California, and at a lot of the little Mom & Pop Mexican ( Mamacita and Papacita? ) stores. I haven't been brave enough to try Pepsi or Coke, but I have tried Jarritos, which is fruit flavored, and Mundial ( apple ) and Senorial ( non alcoholic sangria ), with no ill effects.

I had Pepsi back in the mid-90's when I went to Mexico to visit my niece who was living there to gain fluency in Spanish.

She did not warn me that in Mexico, the carbonation is more than here in the US.

I took a great swig of Pepsi and my cheeks almost exploded!

I did not get sick from drinking the pop (just don't get ice) and it was very good. Just very very carbonated!

Yup, pretty common around here - and popular, too. It's got real cane sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which makes it a plus among the health-conscious crowd.

Imagine that: the healthy people preferring Mexican drinks over their American counterparts.

Yup Mexican coke is superior in two respects. First the already mentioned real sugar and second they use glass bottles instead of nasty plastic.

drinking a Mexican Pepsi as i type this.

'round this shit hole town i live in. seems the meijer i work @ is the only place that sells the Mexican Coke & Pepsi. though that just started this past summer (Coke) and a couple weeks ago(Pepsi) sell'em for $1/bottle.

Still trying to figure out why the kids @ the local university were buying them by the case. ($24)
i figure the glass would be too dificult to make into a bong...

Yeah Walmart usually has them (but hasn't the past few times I went) so I bought some at Meijer. If I could buy a case I would. They normally sell for $1.79 but yesterday I got it for $1 each!
