Why are you snarking Wulf, again, who made an actual comment about an actual Hatian candidate for president.
I somewhat agree with Wulf, they'd be better off if Wyclef were president, even if the idea sounds absurd. He was just barred from the ballot.
My personal choice would be Aristide, but he's not allow to run either. That's corruption for you, and also Haiti.
The outside manipulators, the US and France, should back off.
Believe it or not, I actually agree with you on every single thing in this post. Even the part about Wulf and the unnecessary sniping at him. That video WAS relevant, and probably more than a little prophetic. If Wyclef was President, he would no doubt be assassinated. But he doesn't seem to want to let that stand in his way.
If I were of any kind of religious bent, I'd take the continual suffering of Haiti as a sign that there is a god, and that (s)he is cruel, petty, vindictive, and evil beyond all human imagining.

For a nation like America, you can't single out one group. We are all Americans and thats it.
But for Haiti? They need a common uniting factor. I know a bit of their history, and more than most what its like there.
They live on a rock. Its the shit side of the whole island. Nothing grows there, and the best they can hope for is to get work from the Dominicans. Or fish, but very few do that.
(Which brings up a whole nother thing.. the potatoe famine with the Irish. You live on a fuken ISLAND, so you are starving because you can't eat a potato? Jeeze, learn from the Japanese...but I digress..)
So no. Wycleff wouldn't be a good President here. But there? Sure. Why not? He obviously cares enough, and wants to help. Its got to be better than Doc..

First, my apologies to Wulf; I know little to nothing about Haiti and didn’t know who Wyclef was; I am guilty of assuming, assuming that the video (which I never watch) was about something having nothing to do with Haiti. I should not assume.
Second, DT, that was an interesting take on it, and I think it might possibly explain him coming back. When I heard it I could only shake my head, feeling much the same as Mike’s first response. But seen in that light, I can only say “hmmmm....”
Lastly, Wulf, you are incorrect. I just responded directly and civilly to you TWICE in the Schwarzenegger thread, despite the fact that the posts I was responding to had their own share of snarks. I attempted to compliment you on your words and questions because I was impressed to hear YOU, rather than just see a video. I have done so whenever what you have had to say has been a realistic contribution, not just hero/villain videos and/or snarks. I respond even tho’ your mindset often blows me away and the it’s frustrating that you don’t seem capable of seeing anything in other than black-and-white terms and feel violence is the ONLY solution to nearly everything. When someone contributes to the discussion and I have something to respond, I do so, whether they agree with me or not. Nobody has to read my responses, any more than I read past the first word or two of Kane’s (and that only to see if by chance he MIGHT have something of value to say rather than just his idiocy and hatred of me).

I *am* of a "religious" bent, and this is exactly what I believe...
But I refuse to ignore our own contributions either, given what WE (as in we, the United States, our Armed Forces and Intelligence Assets) did to Aristead - not to mention us propping up and supporting fuckers like Papa Doc in the first place.

I am of a religious bent.
But I realize 3 things.
1. God gave us free-will, how we use it is up to us.
2. Don't blame God for how others use their gift.
3. How we use it, determines whom we serve.
