Bwahahahahaha... My phone plays .mid files converted from MP3's. So I uploaded the entire theme song into it for my ringer. It's a little muted though so I have to have my ringer on high.

I read this message and thought, what a great idea now I just have to figure out how to do it.
I managed to edit the theme mp3, convert, and upload it. Do you have Sprint Vision?

Hrm... could you post the mid file somewhere? I've never been able to get a wave/mp3 to MIDI converter to actually work well. Thanks!

Actually, I just renamed it from MP3 to MID. Windows media player plays it fine as does my phone.

I'd love a .mid as well, though not for a phone. I just love the way MIDIs sound. Dunno why.

Wow... well, you have a much better phone than mine. A real MIDI file is a completely different creature than most sound formats, since it's basically sheet music. That's why it's so hard to convert a regular sound file to a MIDI.
