Buffy. Angel. Firefly. Dr. Horrible. Dollhouse.

For the first time ever dane101.com is happy to present Whedonesque Burlesque, a night where burlesque performers from Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago will put a shiny twist on some of your favorite Joss Whedon characters. We'll have more details on those performers shortly, but until that time here are details on how the night will break down. 18+!

9 p.m. Doors to "The Bronze" open.
9:30 p.m. "The Host" will read the auras of a select number of individuals performing karaoke.
10 p.m. The performances! A dozen burlesque performances over two hours.
Midnight: A Whedonesque dance party featuring DJ Sweet D

We expect this event will sell out as this is a small space. Please buy your tickets in advance. All of the revenue from sales will go to our performers. Buy your tickets here:

Audience costumes are encouraged and will be judged - harshly.

Note: If people leave after the performances allowing more room we will be opening the doors for the midnight dance party. Entry at that time will be $5. (To clarify: if you've already paid to get in for the performance you won't need to pay again to stay for the dance party. This is only for new people if space opens up after the performances.)

Presented by your geeky friends at dane101.com.

No kidding. Few reasons I think of to head up towards Madison, at that time of the year.

Though it does sound like fun.....

Hell, I'd pay good money to see Inara in a g-string and pasties!
