I haven't seen pictures of the signing session yet, so I thought I'd post some of mine. I was lucky enough to have a friend stand in line for me, so I was able to watch the first half of the panel before leaving to get back in line.

Meeting the crew and Joss was great, obviously, but they pushed us through the line so fast I got flustered and forgot almost everything I wanted to say to all of them, and ended up sounding like a babbling idiot. You can see in some of the pictures they were pretty much just furiously signing a bunch of posters. Also, because of the time constraints, they didn't let us take pictures with them. But I can't really complain, I got to meet them and get my DVD and the Serenity mini-poster signed.

Some of the pictures I took:

You got your DVDs signed? Damn. The convention people told us they wouldn't sign anything except the Serenity sheet.

Also, would it be possible for me to maybe use some of these pictures for my documentary (see post "Big Damn Roadtrip")? The brief footage I was able to get with my video camera didn't really do them justice, and I don't know if our other pictures are going to come out well.

Those are great pictures, OKKAY! Did you take them yourself, or did your friend take them?

No, I took those pictures. I was lucky enough to be near the front of the line (I started waiting in line around 11:30), so I got some of those pictures before the line started moving, so no one was blocking my view. I'm glad they turned out okay.

Yeah, I heard the security people tell us they'd only sign the posters as well, so I wasn't going to try to get my DVD signed. But then I saw the woman behind me ask for hers signed, and since I already had all of the covers taken out of the plastic, I went ahead and asked Nathan, Adam, Ron, and Gina to sign those covers anyways, which they did. I wanted all 10 of them to sign the DVD but I settled for just the 4 covers and Joss's signature on the box.

Feel free to use my pictures, just don't take credit for them in case that issue arises. I took almost 50 pictures of the signing session, so if there's anything else you're looking for I might have other pictures you'd like to use. Just let me know.

Thanks for the pics Okkay. They are shiny!

I would love to have one of those mini posters. I will be taking my DVD set to Dragon Con in Atlanta in Sept. So far only Jewel is scheduled to be there, but I hope that changes and some of the other BDHs can make it.
