I really enjoy Quentin Tarantino's work. I love "Pulp Fiction" and "Reservoir Dogs", and I really like "Jackie Brown" and "Kill Bill". . .
. . .but why the hell would I want him in at the helm of Serenity?

I got no quarrel with T's work as such - I think he is one of the least original artists on the planet, but some of the stuff he magpied for Kill Bill was magnificent.

My days of taking you seriously are comin' to a middle. As much as I love T's work this is Joss's baby and it is through J's hard work and dedication that this movie is going to happen. I want to see J's vision flying on the big screen.
This may sound stupid but it would be like taking something like ....oh I don't know .. lets say Battlestar Galactica and relaunching it.
We'll get rid of most of the female cast, make a couple of the cooler male characters women, and lets take any notion of family togetherness and make everybody mad. Why not just let T do his own sci-fi movie if thats what he wants to do. That would rock. Lets stop taking in these crappy remakes of old 70's televion and movies and demand better quality from Hollywood. Originality and quallity that someone like Joss has shown in abundance. OOps I started to rant again didn't I. Not that I didn't like the BG revision miniseries. As much as I didn't want to it was good. If they were going to change so much why not change the name as well.
