mine doesn't get here til friday...am probly paying more for it than the rest of you which is weird considering it'd be cheaper for me to order it from the US considering the Aussie dollar has virtually the same value as the US dollar...but I'm supporting the only comic book store in Newcastle NSW.

How come when you get on Borders it says it won't be released until November 9th? Is the Nov 3rd date just for preorder sales or has it been moved back again?

It might be a venue thing.
The book is out in comic stores today (although the store closest to me didn't get any copies, and my regular store said that they were allocated a certain number by Diamond).
Barnes & Noble, Borders, and Amazon all list the release date as 11/9, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're actually shipping before then.
It might also simply be a system technicality. New Comic Day is a Wednesday, but I believe New Book Day is usually a Tuesday. Could just be that all three systems default to the following Tuesday if something is released from Wednesday on.

Hey, thanks, Gwek...
Called local comic store, and sure 'nuff-they had it(but they only got in 4 copies, mind you), sooo done and read it...I'll be interested to see the comments. Me and the mister had completely different takes on it...
But let me be the first to say I liked it...and I'm not very religious. I do have to say it has this nice poetic feel to it.
Soooooo, when do we get an Inara backstory, now?

I just read the graphic novel yesterday and I have to say that I enjoyed it. For the people who've read it, I one question.
Select to view spoiler:
Since Book was resposible for the murder of 4,000 Alliance Troopers during the war, and was cast off the I.A.V. Alexander, you would assumed that he was Dishonorably Discharged. So why is it in the episode 'Safe', Book was instantly given medical assistance by the Alliance. Wouldn't they have flat out denied him?
