Bumping for Angels.
Started the making of two new flyers myself just this past weekend.
First one , my ShenZhou , prettier than River Tam , just as brilliant and agile , still an awesome 17-year-old girl , for a couple months yet. Wants to be my spaceship pilot.
Second one , her sister , LotsaMercy , essential sweetness , 2 years older. Today she told her dad that she wants him to hire her as his personal pilot.

Just trying to figure out what the relationship here is, you mentioned her several times, and not much else...
I'm not the only person who would wonder whatza 40-something guy doing hanging out witha couple of young girls, and no mention of their momma...And- I'm livin this close proxemity to backwoods country where if it's crawling, it's legal...And- you've called yourself dirty ol'man before, so I can't help but go there.

And speaking of Viper pilots... I just started reading Stephen Coonts' "Final Flight" (even though I've had it on my shelf since it came out 22 years ago!
), and it's even more detailed about Navy air operations than "Flight of the Intruder" was!I had to giggle when Grafton's RIO, on a night flight in the Tomcat, radios back to the carrier, "Battlestar Strike, Red Ace flight entering Bravo at assigned altitude."
