I'd say Trek is leagues better than that POS Salvation.

Yes, but your taste is rather.... notorious....
But either way, I'd gladly hold up a critically acclaimed and popular flick from one of the best directors ever, based on a story from a classic writer that tries, albiet not entirely successfully, to explore some heady ideas over a failed cash-in attempt with a hastily slapped together script that can't even settle on an idea lead by the directing powerhouse called McG that was savaged in reviews and flopped so hard they had to auction off the rights afterward.... but that's me.

I agree the ending was a mis-step. But I will always lean toward a film that tries for greatness and falls a bit short than one that strives for mediocrity and succeeds.

T4 was the best of the bunch since the original. It was what I had been waiting to see for 25 years, the actual war against the machines. It's a relatively "small" story, but it is very well done, and the plot is excellent. Hopefully we'll see more of that war in future movies.

The plot is excellent if you don't pay attention. But when even your actors are pointing out plot holes, it's hardly an air-tight script.
I'm glad you got your future war though. Glad it satisfied you. But I found it to be far and away the worst of the franchise.

No, it was a really good movie, just not one of my favourites because of my own issues with it (hated the rolling eyeballs thing).
