This interview talks alot about the group dynamics of the different casts. Is Whedon implying that all is not well on the Buffyverse sets?
Yeah, and there's also a good description of "Objects in Space."
Quote:
"It's basically about a bounty hunter who's come to seek River [Summer Glau] and actually manages to get on the ship while it's in the middle of space," Whedon said in an interview during a break in filming. "And so it's very sort of suspenseful. And it's also about the crew finding out what is River and ... is she dangerous? Is she psychic? Is she just weird? And juxtaposing her character and the bounty hunter as two outsiders who are sort of looking at the crew and this world."

That's awesome. We got ourselves a bounty hunter. I can't wait to see how that plays out.

I think the uneasiness and tension is mostly related to Sarah Michelle Gellar. The cast and crew have always implied that she is a bit of a... let's say prima donna (hell, she didn't even invite the cast to her wedding!). She also has a horrible reputation in Hollywood for being very uncoperative and controlling (we're talking controlling of Barbra Streisand proportions). But she's great as Buffy, so I guess all that can be forgiven.
