OK, here is where we can sorta set up the 1 to 3 thread long "one-shot" of the 2 week vacation on New Hokkaido.

Now let me see ... OK here are the arcs that I can remember.

1) Rowan's Pool tournament and the billard "Sting" planned by Thorne.

2) Rowan & Damon find common ground through the discovery of knowing a certain 'influential' individual. For those who are a bit slow today -- the name begins with an 'X'.

3) Jayne takes Merz shopping! She wears a WHAT!

4) Thorne and Inara 'connect' {is that right?} and both leave Serenity and even New Hokkaido. {Run off or tell everybody?}

5) Book meets an interesting Storyteller who is also a mechanic. Book thinks he recognizes the Storyteller from the 'old days'. {Yes, it is NicoAllez)

6) Wash gets to watch Zoe ... well ... wash {hee hee - bathe}, at the GreenTree Spa and other water sports are sure to follow.

7) Jonas Hexx {post-job} Runs into the crew.

8) Mal rethinks his descisions.

I know I fergot stuff, so add to the list!

I would suggest that as much of these scenes should be work on as blended posts - I know Channain and Squee have a bit {quite a bit?} sussed out for their "drunk scene" and I do believe they had planned to post it mostly 'blended'.

Other Ideas, thoughts, caveats?

I think that about covers it on our end, Capn... we haven't gotten much editing done for our scene yet but I figure we have a while to work on it. Don't know how long it will end up either- hope no one minds, we've been planning this scene since February and it turned out longer than we expected. Can't wait to read what everyone else has planned!

Yay, watersports!

Nope, not dead, just feeling buried alive under my work. I'll be catching up here soon (I know, I keep saying that...), and I'll definitely be caught up in time for the vacation!! (I'd hate to have Decoy playing with himself... er, alone, that is...

What Squee said *waving to Squee*

It did end up a lot longer than we expected - note to everyone else, don't let Damon drink. I'm serious. The boy gets a serious case of the talkers

I still have to review the edits she made and tweak it my own self (we're talking about the drunk scene). And if I do say so myself, it's a nice piece of writing. Long, but nice.

Since I'm in school mode, I'll put together my own pre-writing of plans for Rowan shortly.

Yes it is, as a matter of fact. I picked it up from "Three Little Words" starring Fred Estaire and Red Skelton. Fred was the one drinking and Red was the one who said he had "the talkers." Sometimes booze just makes language very... fluid.
