I am loving this show. if its not sci-fi it has to be a good cop show for me, and 5-O has been delivering.

Me, too. Scott Caan really steals the show.
I loved it when, at the end of the pilot, the cuffed bad guy is trying to squirm out from under him: "Where are you trying to go?" then he just stands up and says, "G'head!"
Yes, more & more people are gonna be using "G'head" in everyday conversation soon, I'll wager.

Scott Caan, son of the great James Caan, was on Entourage this past season. He was great in it, and his character had a big impact on the show. Very cool guy, or at least his acting style is very cool. I hope he's coming back to Entourage next season. I don't watch any cop shows, so sorry Hawaii 5.0

The show is fine, nothing special but nothing really bad. Whether it has legs to run is another thing.
The main points of interest have already been pointed out - Grace Park and Scott Caan. Between them they bring the sexiness and the humour. O'Loughlin as McGarrett is okay but nothing great. Daniel Dae Kim is good but the writers need to bring out his humour more.

Overall it's okay and looking forward to seeing more James Marsters later on.
