What YOU'RE ignoring is that "we" fully realize we're going to lose seats in November; it's a given--midterms ALWAYS cost the party in power seats. We're just watching who's being put up and thinking "hey, it may not be as bad as has been forecast, with all these split tickets and nutballs..."
As to Rush...yes, it's no doubt a non-story on Fox, etc. They don't want to admit it. And where is the constantly-loudly proclaimed idea that Fox is always right, checks their facts, etc., etc.? We're not grasping at straws, we're just shoving those claims down your throat.
It's unimportant anyway; those who know Fox lies and uses everything it can get its hands on to further its agenda, and the rest wouldn't believe it if they saw it first hand.
So I'll stop waiting for any defense, 'cuz it's obvious there isn't one.

What does FOX not reporting about a non-story have anything to do w/ Rush? Or with lies or being fair and balanced ? It's not a news worthy story, so there's no point in covering it. Interesting that the common accusation by some people here is that, when a point is made with which they disagree, it's called "whining". What does making a point have to do with whining, exactly?
I have pointed out that Rush reported something which was false, with the only intent being to point out that he has done so, while the focus of some people has been that ONLY the left does so and Fox, et al., are always honest. It's a valid point; has nothing to do with whining; the point of this thread is that it WAS reported, then disappeared (which is interesting in and of itself); I never said any such thing as "no fair"; and I put up a story to make a point--nowhere did I "mock" or "lampoon" what actually happened.
It's a shame some people can only utilize childish mischaracterizations to respond to points which could be countered or defended in a rational, adult fashion.

So who else was "reporting" this "story" besides Rushbaugh? The cite HE gave was a Pensacola newspaper, which he said published the story on "June 31st" - a date which does not exist.
So who was reporting this story? After all, he doesn't do any of his own research, doesn't check any of his "facts" (sounds an awful lot like Rappy, doesn't he?), doesn't do any real work. So who "reported" this story? Where did he pick it up?
Was this the same source who claimed that Mike Castle voted to impeach Bush? (A claim which you yourself have made here, and which is 100% false, by the way)
