NIKITA was really good- anyone else see it tonight?

Wait a couple of weeks when it's up against new shows on the other networks. I'll be watching Fringe at that time myself.

My main complaint against the show is that it is so much like other shows we've already seen, and not just the other incarnations of Nikita either. Too gorram predictable to interest me.

Never seen it. Should I?
The reason I like Nikita is that it's frilly stuff, fun, but nothing that I'd severely miss should it be canceled. I'm TV gun-shy after FF & Dark Angel (AND Battlestar Galactica (old), and UFO, AND every other gorram promising TV series!!!!).
If I *love* the show- if I can't live without it, it gets axed.
I'm fine with just lightweight fun stuff on TV now.
I never got into Lost for that reason, silly me, it went the distance, and the final ep was doofy. Another way to waste time, I guess.
It gets axed, or it gets silly & stupid.
Except for CHUCK, I have no serious investment in TV.

I'd recommend Fringe. One thing you might not like about it is that while it does have a serialized story-line it has many episodes that are pretty much stand-alones that do not address the over all arc. But when it does center around the continuing arc it is damn good.

And John Noble as Walter Bishop is outstanding.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised.
Way better than the Bridget Fonda version (never saw the Peta Wilson series)!

The Peta one was WAAY better than that Fonda mess, but this new one is better still IMO. I actually count the days until the next ep, and that hasn't happened to me in a while. Not since the first season of Dark Angel, anyway.

Yep. I like dis show! It's like a less far-fetched Alias.

Tell me you saw it, Mike.

She looks like she would have a promising political career.

(I do like Maggie Q, especially when she's beating up Bruce Willis)
