Hi all,
I hadn't heard of Firefly till I met a college buddy, he introduced me to them via a well-worn set of DVDs.
Soon my roomie bought his own set and we were having Firefly parties. It was awesome!
I just rewatched the entire series (and the movie) within a week, and now I'm starting over
I dabble a little in various DIY fields, like woodcarving, leatherworking, tool restoration (giving new life to old axes spokeshaves, etc) and knifemaking/modding.

Close enough. This is the Blue Sun Room discussion forum. There is another way to actually place your work in the Blue Sun Room proper, but being artistically challenged myself I haven't uploaded anything there in quite a few years.
Go back to the main page, look up toward the top and choose "Blue Sun Room" from the menu topics and follow the links from there. You can also select "My Firefly" to create a Firefly Log entry, our version of a blog post.

Wow, Stagdag, that is some good fan-stuff.
Welcome aboard the shiniest ship in the 'Verse, even if you're a mite late. So were some of the rest of us. Most, even.
First thing, have a mug of Mudder's Milk and a big, red strawberry, part of our old traditional greeting. Then up to the storage locker to be fitted with a one-size fits-all virtual browncoat. New or used, they're the best planetwear going.
Now, to question the buffet. Shimmerwine fountain at the far end (don't put your feet under the table, the space is -- um -- occupied) and the rest of the goodies as seasonally available on whatever moon or planet we may visit or even be near.
P. S. Ice-planets are on the bottom shelf of the cooler. Hope you like vanilla 'cos we're due for a re-supply.
