Well me, I'm pissed off cause it's nine years later and all we got is a hole in the ground, a festering wound that both the radical asshats, AND our own leaders like to poke at every once in a while to watch us flinch, distracting us from all the bullshit they're pulling...
Fuck that.
I said it then, I say it now, we shoulda put them damn towers RIGHT BACK UP, bigger, stronger, with a fucking flagpole on top of each one topped by an eagle screaming it's defiance on one side, and laughing at them on the other - a great big middle finger to the idea that a dozen shitheels could bring OUR country to it's knees, but no, instead our own leaders helped it happen, so THEY could do to us themselves what those radical asshats wanted to do.
Which of course raises the issue, once again, of who is the greater threat to our people, our society, our way of live - the shitheels of the world, or our own leaders, when they aid and abet it for their own purposes ?
And with me, there's also a certain annoyance at the whinging, the way I would view a parent who has lost a child and keeps that room immaculate with a little shrine in it, fifteen fucking years later - comes a time you have to let it GO, life goes on, but only if you LET it!
So I say, CHOOSE LIFE.
But I seem to be in the minority with that attitude, don't I ?
