1300x180 pixels
Should contain graphics related to Firefly.
"fireflyfans.net" wording on left side using papyrus font or something similar.
Credit yourself in smaller fonts at lower left [right?] corner of banner. Use "banner by your_name/handle" or similar wording.

Haken,
First off, let me say that, though I tend to be a lurker on the site and not post too often, I love the look of the new site! Thank you so much for all the hard work you've put into the redesign and keeping this site alive for so many years!
I remember when the thread came up for suggestions for the new site, but at the time I didn't have any, so remained in lurker mode. 
Today, though, a thought occurred to me that I'm not sure has been mentioned anywhere, so... Is there any way that an optional preview function could be added so we can see what our comments will look like before actually posting them?

I’m not usually one that goes for change but I do like the new look. Still it’ll take me a bit to get used to. I actually bought a set of six cereal bowls that are that shade of earthen red….and yes they reminded me of what Kaylee might buy Serenity’s kitchen. That’s why I bought them :)~
