Hi all! The pictures of the cakes we sent to the sets of Serenity came in from Topozio's bakery. It's posted at Angel's Food Drive's website:

www.angelsfooddrive.com

Scroll down to the middle of the page and there's a link to the pictures of the cakes. Remember, these are the pictures before they were sent to Joss and Company. I'm hoping someone out there was on the sets and took some pictures. If so, please email them to orbistra@yahoo.com and we'd like to put them on our site.

Thank you!

Brought to you by the folks at

Those cakes are actually a little rude.... to Joss I mean. Who are we to tell him what to do?

I kind of want my money back a little bit......

You're the first person who said the cakes are a little rude. Considering that Jewel said this about the cakes:

I think I may have spelled humongous wrong. Just a quick note to say we all LOOOOVED the cakes that were sent to the set today. They were wonderfully creamy and fatty in every good sense of the word! They were devoured.

Thanks again....

Jewel

I know what Jewel said - and that's nice, I just found them in poor taste (No pun) - but maybe that's just me (also, poor taste coming from a guy posting as Spookyjesus - I'm aware of the irony.

I'm glad the cast liked them and that the fooddrive itself got support and attention.

Aw c'mon SpookyJesus, these are great!

I think Joss would laugh his ass off. AND be flattered by the obvious worship and pure desire for MORE of whatever he decides to do.

Although I didn't know about the cakes beforehand, so therefore couldn't contribute, I think they are adorable and in keeping with the Mutant Enemy spirit.

Thanks Willowy! We all felt the same way about Joss liking the cakes too.

You betcha Booksniffer!

I think your name is great. It got me thinking what kind of sniffer would I be? Then it came to me...SharpieSniffer!

I can't resist sniffing that Sharpie ink. I'm probably brain-damaged by now.

Thanks Willowy! You're making me blush!

You sound like a really nice person. That would be funny - SharpiesSniffer (cute too).

I don't think the Sharpie ink has a smell to it - or at least I don't remember it having one. I could be wrong. I know those dry-erase board markers I use every once in a while have a really bad smell. You can smell them from far away. Don't worry about the brain-damaged thing. I've sniffed many things and I think I'm fine - except for the voices in my head that talk to me.
